INTRODUCING: INVENTORY INTAKE

Unless you want us packing and shipping boxes of Tokyo-flavored air, we most likely need to physically receive your store's stuff (inventory)!

What exactly is 'inventory'? Inventory is anything like products, specialized inserts, etc. that we'll need to Mix (pack) and Mail (ship) for your store.

When our warehouse receives your inventory, those items are inspected and then scanned it into the warehouse system. That's what 'Inventory Intake' is!

STEP 1. SEND INVENTORY OUR WAY

You can send us inventory yourself, or have it delivered to one of our fulfillment warehouses straight from your supplier / manufacturer / etc.

Since we don't have the miraculous ability to sense when someone sends us inventory (thanks for nothing, mom and dad), you'll have to let us know when inventory is on the way. You can do this by filling out the 'Incoming Inventory!' notification form. We'll ask for:

-Shipment info
-What inventory is coming
-Quantities of each item

There's a bit more information to fill out. In total, it takes about 5 minutes to fill out the whole form.

STEP 2. WE DO OUR THING

When your inventory arrives at our warehouse in Saitama Prefecture, it's first unloaded and then checked, to make sure there wasn't any damage in transit.

If your inventory isn't already barcoded, this is the part where barcodes are put on (this service is free).

Then your inventory is scanned into our warehouse system, and everything is moved into the warehouse. See our "Warehousing" page for more information about that.

INVENTORY UPDATES 

We use barcode and scanning systems in our warehouses.

With our Direct Connect service, your inventory levels update in real time. You can check your inventory at any time from your Member page (coming soon!)

PRICE OF INVENTORY INTAKE

Inventory Intake is priced PER PRODUCT.

Inventory Intake fees are charged at the same time as your Member Plan, around the 5th of each month.

(optional) DDU Service (coming soon!)

DDU Service (Delivery Duties Unpaid) is an optional service that can be added to your Member Plan.

When your shipment reaches us, if there are any import duties and/ or delivery fees that still need to be paid we can handle them on your behalf!

The DDU service fee is charged each month at the same time as your Member Plan. Import duties and/or delivery fees paid on your behalf are added to your next Member Plan payment.

SPECIAL HANDLING

Some inventory might need special handling.

When you fill out the "Incoming Inventory! -notification form" you can tell us if your inventory has any special handling requirements, or if there's a certain way you would prefer we handle it.
